Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Worker to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and mechanical knowledge, contributing to the efficiency of our assembly line. This role involves fabricating and assembling products using various tools and equipment, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Responsibilities Operate and maintain machinery and equipment within the shop. Fabricate components and assemble products according to specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to warehouse operations and mechanical tasks. Skills Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with machinery. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques. Proficient in using forklifts, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in fabrication and assembly tasks.
