93 Wood Products is looking for a dependable, mechanically capable person to operate and set up industrial woodworking equipment in our production mill. Production runs vary by project and may include tongue & groove, door and window casing, crown moulding, shiplap siding, S4S, and other custom wood products. Material, dimensions, and processing requirements vary from job to job. This is a hands-on production position involving lumber selection and handling, machine setup and operation, work orders, and continuous quality control. What You'll Do Read and follow work orders, dimensions, and cut lists. Select, inspect, and stage the required lumber. Set up and operate industrial woodworking machinery. Adjust machines to produce required dimensions and profiles. Feed, stack, package, and move material through the production process. Monitor material and finished products for dimensional and visual quality. Record production quantities. Maintain an organized, efficient flow of material through the shop. Take responsibility for producing 100% usable product that meets customer requirements. What We're Looking For Experience operating or setting up industrial machinery, woodworking equipment, or other production machinery. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to make machine adjustments. Ability to read measurements, dimensions, and work orders. Good visual judgment and attention to quality. Dependability and a strong work ethic. Ability to work safely and independently around industrial equipment. Experience with every machine is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has strong mechanical and production experience. Helpful Backgrounds Experience in millwork, woodworking, lumber processing, machining, cabinet manufacturing, furniture manufacturing, sawmill/wood products production, or industrial machine operation may be a good fit. Compensation $25-$37 per hour, depending on demonstrated experience and qualifications.
