• Part-time, Full-time We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our artisan food manufacturing team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our gelato and plant-based milk products, ensuring consistent quality, food safety compliance, and efficient line operations. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Operate and monitor production equipment for gelato churning, pasteurization, freezing, and plant-based milk processing (blending, straining, homogenization) Follow standardized recipes and production schedules to meet daily output targets Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on production machinery including pasteurizers, batch freezers, and filling/packaging lines Monitor temperatures, pressures, and processing times throughout each production run Accurately weigh and measure ingredients including nut bases, oat, soy, or other plant-based inputs, sweeteners, stabilizers, and flavoring agents Quality & Food Safety Adhere strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP protocols, and allergen control procedures Conduct routine quality checks including texture, taste, temperature, and Brix measurements Identify and report any product defects, equipment issues, or deviations from standard procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations Documentation & Compliance Complete batch records, production logs, and cleaning/sanitation records accurately and in a timely manner Follow all labeling, traceability, and allergen segregation requirements Participate in internal audits and third-party inspections as needed Team Collaboration Work closely with the QA team and production supervisor to resolve issues on the line Support training of new team members when required Communicate shift handover information clearly and effectively
