We're a small, passionate team with deep roots and big ambitions — and as we grow, we're looking for a skilled Chocolatier to help lead our production and put their creative stamp on what we make. The Role This is a core position at Chocolate Smiles. You'll be the heartbeat of our production kitchen — responsible for the quality, consistency, and creativity of everything we make. Whether your background is culinary school, years in a chocolate shop, or hands-on confectionery experience, what matters most is that you know your craft and take pride in it.

Hours:

Full-time, 30-40 hours. We're open Monday through Saturday. The schedule could vary by season. What You'll Do Follow and execute our established recipes, procedures, and quality standards while actively contributing ideas to expand our offerings, elevate existing recipes, and help grow Chocolate Smiles into an even more artisan-forward shop Hand-dip and mold chocolates to a high and consistent standard Temper chocolate and manage production batches with precision and care Decorate and finish chocolates with care and consistency, including garnishing and an interest in expanding into hand-painting techniques Oversee daily production output to meet quality and volume goals Work alongside and help guide production staff, sharing your knowledge and techniques What We're Looking For Proven experience as a chocolatier, pastry professional, or confectionery producer — formal training, culinary school, or real-world experience all considered A confident, practiced hand with chocolate tempering and hand-dipping techniques Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, beautiful results A collaborative spirit — someone who leads by example and lifts the team around them Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable owning their work day-to-day 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation Why Chocolate Smiles? $16-$20/hr based on experience Real creative input — help shape our recipes and seasonal collections A genuine opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the shop expands Be part of a beloved local business with over 40 years of community history Work in a kitchen where craft is respected and your skills actually matter
