Core Responsibilities

Manual Sorting:

Inspect, pull, and separate materials moving along a conveyor belt into designated bins by type, color, or grade.

• Quality Control:

  Remove contaminants and non-recyclable "residue" from the recycling stream.

• Facility Maintenance:

  Clean and clear debris from the sorting line, tip floor, and surrounding workspace.

• Equipment Monitoring:

  Report line malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors.

• Safety Compliance:

  Follow facility guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are met. Key Skills & Requirements

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for entire shifts, walk, bend, and lift weights up to (50text{ lbs}).

• Visual Acuity:

  Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly distinguish material types (e.g., PET vs. HDPE plastics).

• Work Environment:

  Tolerance for working in fast-paced industrial environments without temperature control, including exposure to high noise, dust, and outdoor elements.
