  • 4:30 pm & F 6 am
  • 11 am Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and/or a varied schedule may be required per business needs.

LEE associates are offered the opportunity to learn and grow in their career. SUMMARY The Sewing Inspector will report to the Sewing Manager and work directly with sewers and other inspectors. Tie Cover Inspectors are responsible to inspect all sewn parts/pieces are accurate per production ticket and meets the quality standards of the company before it is sent to staging for Upholstery Department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspecting all sewn parts for accuracy & quality to meet production standards. Identify quality issues and report to manager. Ensuring all sewn parts/pieces are bundled together and are complete before it is sent to staging All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Inspection Experience (furniture a plus) Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment. Able to handle multiple tasks & work in a fast paced, concentrated environment. Attention to detail/quality minded.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Able to work full time. Furniture experience Manufacturing Inspection or Quality Control experience helpful Effective communication skills Good organizational skills and detailed oriented PC skills, AS400 knowledge Must be able to lift/handle/carry 25 lbs. + Long periods of standing/walking up to 10 hours daily.
