2,2,3 Rotating 12-hour Day and Night Shift The Fiber Technician is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the Dyneema fiber production facility to produce Dyneema fiber, of the highest possible quality, in the most cost-effective manner. This position requires interaction with other technicians, control room operator, shift coordinator, and supervision within the fiber production organization. • High school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a fibers production environment and/or equivalent military technical experience or training.
• Work experience in an industrial operations environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals
• Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must have the ability to use conversions, work with different units such as weight, volume, density, distance, etc.
• Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures.
• Knowledge of scheduling procedures
