Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Metal Fabrication Associate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and contribute across multiple areas of sheet metal production-including cutting, bending, forming, welding, assembly, and finishing. The ideal candidate is eager to grow their skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Train in and perform a variety of tasks within the sheet metal manufacturing process, including: Machine operation (shears, brakes, punches, lasers, etc.) Metal forming and bending Assembly and spot welding Finishing and quality checks Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions for each process. Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy. Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, or work orders. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to support production goals.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing is preferred, but not required; training will be provided. Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in multiple production areas. Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices. Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or blueprints. Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
