Winding Operator (Bilingual Spanish - English) | 2nd Shift

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Winding Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating winding machines, maintaining production quality, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities Set up and monitor machines at the start of the shift and throughout production Creel and doff packages on winding machines Perform air splicing on production orders Handle rewinds and change over production orders as needed Complete production tickets accurately Report equipment issues to the Technician promptly Meet daily production goals Maintain a clean and organized work area Identify and report quality concerns to the supervisor Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to meet production standards after training Ability to read and understand work orders and specification sheets Basic math and documentation skills Willingness to cross-train on different equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 9 lbs Good hand dexterity and coordination Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs Must be able to distinguish colors (color vision required) Work Environment & Safety Must follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain housekeeping standards in work area Tools & Equipment Winding machines, air splicer Work order tickets, cones, packages Basic tools (knife ring, broom, etc.) Apply today to join our team and grow your career in manufacturing!
