Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Associate to join our team. This role involves operating sit-down, stand-up and cherry picker forklifts, pulling orders for operators, and ensuring cleanliness in production areas. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in machine operating and forklift. With this role the plan is to train into the operator role after a few weeks of utilizing the forklift. Candidates must have prior experience operating a forklift. Responsibilities Operate sit-down and cherry picker forklifts efficiently. Pull orders accurately for operators. Maintain cleanliness in production areas. Assist in general production tasks including assembly and packaging. Essential Skills Forklift experience is required. Ability to operate sit-down and cherry picker forklifts. Previous machine operating experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment frequently exposes employees to marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be high, requiring adaptability and resilience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
