Responsibilities include:
Build and assemble custom garage doors according to CAD drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Measure materials accurately and use appropriate tools and equipment to complete production work. Identify and repair defects in wood and plywood to maintain product quality. Distinguish between various species and types of wood used in production. Read and use a tape measure accurately and effectively. Visualize the completed product and use forward-thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve the desired result. Complete assembly work efficiently to meet production requirements. Identify and communicate quality concerns, production issues, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow established safety procedures and Company safety requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Preferred experience:
One year of experience with power tools. One year of experience performing work involving heavy lifting. Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, construction, carpentry, cabinetry, assembly, or other hands-on environments may be beneficial to success in this position. Work Environment This position works in a production/manufacturing environment. The work environment may include exposure to wood dust, airborne particles, adhesives, finishes, machinery, forklifts, elevated noise levels, and varying temperatures. Employees are required to follow Company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required. Employment Requirements Candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check, physical, and drug test .
