Job Description

Machine Operator
  • Forklift Required Salisbury, NC Pay rate: $14.50
  • 15.50/hr + $2/hr Attendance Bonus Full-Time | 5am
  • 4:30pm | Overtime Available Ready to be more than just another operator?
We're looking for motivated, hands-on individuals who want to play a key role in a fast-paced manufacturing operation. As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for operating one of the most important pieces of equipment in the production process: the mold system. This isn't a "push a button and walk away" job. We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing quality products, paying attention to details, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently. If you're experienced with forklifts, comfortable around manufacturing equipment, and enjoy being part of a team that gets things done, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operate and monitor the mold system to ensure quality production standards are met Move and stage materials using a forklift to support production operations Understand and apply production formulas and operating procedures Track production data including log weights, binder usage, and quality measurements Complete mold reports and production documentation accurately Inspect products throughout the process to ensure quality specifications are achieved Troubleshoot minor production issues and communicate concerns to leadership Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
What We're Looking For:
Forklift certification and previous forklift operating experience required Previous machine operating experience required Ability to understand and work with production formulas Knowledge of different material types and production processes preferred Ability to read a tape measure accurately Basic reading, writing, and math skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to accurately document production information Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to work in a team environment and support production goals Dependable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements:
