Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Yard Helper will be responsible for, but not limited to: Transport material through the shop/yard. Load trailers safely and efficiently. Forklift operation. Crane/hoist operation. Correctly fill out and maintain paperwork for outgoing loads. Maintain proper records for inventory management. Unload incoming material. Perform yard receiving and inventory control. Pull material for production. Handle processed materials for staging, storage, and shipping. Stage and/or build loads for painting, galvanizing, and shipping. Assure that quality of processed materials is kept during handling. Provide equipment support at saw. Other duties as determined by Supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively. Physical ability to work and maneuver around work areas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and follow written instruction. Able to pass Random DOT & Company drug test. Clean Driving Record. Good math skills.
