- 2-2-3 rotating schedule (12-hour shifts) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our production team.
This role is responsible for operating Bobst die cutting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate Bobst die cutting machines to meet production and efficiency goals Set up machine components including feeder, side guides, and front-lays Verify materials for size, thickness, and quality before production runs Inspect production output to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications Compare production runs to job samples and job jacket instructions Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment Complete production paperwork and quality logs accurately Monitor and direct helper/assistant to ensure workflow efficiency Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications (Required) 2+ years of die cutter experience (Bobst strongly preferred) Experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing environments Strong understanding of die cutting setup and production processes Ability to read job jackets, specs, and production instructions Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Skills Folding carton or corrugated packaging experience Preventative maintenance experience Experience working in high-volume production environments Leadership or team lead experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts) Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional up to 50 lbs Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate machinery safely Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing facility Moderate to high noise levels (PPE required) Safety
