Job Description

Hours:
2nd Shift, 2pm - 10pm
Pay:
$20.22 plus lead $2.00, plus shift differential $2.00 for a total of $24.22 What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials to meet production goals. Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations. Interprets specifications, drawings, and job orders to subordinates, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Check inventory to ascertain that all necessary parts and quantities are available and if necessary, confer with purchasing department. Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure improved production methods, tools and equipment maintenance and inventory, and quality of product. Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards. Responsible for training new employees. Thorough knowledge of activities of workers supervised. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards. Responsible for 3 Tier meetings with employees. Follow written standard work and be able to develop standard work and maintain. Responsible for updating production boards, hourly. Assist in driving the job rotation program. May provide input on performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems for employees in group. Performs other duties as assigned. What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires 18 months of on-the-job experience (or supervisor's discretion). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, production work orders and procedure manuals. Ability to complete paperwork and correspondence. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.
