Shift Hours:
8:00am-4:00pm, some flexibility needed based on business demand Who Are We? Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska is a division of The Toro Company. All Exmark products are designed to help customers increase productivity, while delivering unmatched quality. What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: Promotes safe work practices and safety-first environment for all duties performed and trains in safe work practices Provides an introduction to our manufacturing environment to new employees Trains production workers by utilizing hands on training methods in the classroom according to safety standards, product conformance and specifications Evaluates trainee progress and maintains record of trainee's progress and achievements Provides complete and up-to-date information on the competence level of employees to production supervisors Follows up with and reinforces information and training provided to new employees Prepare training aids, materials, and tests to check the knowledge/training level of employees Assists in developing new training or methods of training Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are continuously improved Interacts directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Supervisors and Team Leads Interacts indirectly with other departments that impact the production process in order to help identify and solve problems Schedule training time with employees needing additional training and document Keep all necessary training records Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner Willingly perform other duties as assigned by supervisor such as safety and lean related projects. Also directly support assembly operations during times of reduced hiring. What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: Possess ability to train and coach others Requires strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and planning skills Demonstrates problem solving skills, is able to recognize and appropriately escalate issues when situations arise Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner High attention to organization and detail Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally Demonstrates team spirit, shows flexibility and positive attitude as an active team contributor Ability to successfully complete pre-hire basic skills test and assessments
