Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Feed Mill Worker to assist with the production, handling, and storage of animal feed. The successful candidate will operate equipment, monitor production processes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure workplace safety while supporting daily feed mill operations. Key Responsibilities Operate feed mill machinery and equipment according to established procedures. Mix, process, animal feed products. Load and unload ingredients and finished feed products. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs. Maintain accurate production and inventory records. Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the facility. Follow safety, quality control, and biosecurity procedures. Assist with receiving, storing, and handling raw materials. Support other production and warehouse activities as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in feed manufacturing, agriculture, grain handling, or industrial production. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Experience operating production equipment or machinery. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one. Working Conditions Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. May require overtime, weekends, or shift work during peak production periods.
