This role will operate semiconductor characterization and testing equipment for evaluating the quality of epitaxial wafers. Duties & Responsibilities Follow instructions from shift Supervisor; Test & characterize wafers according to detailed wafer documentation specific to each part. Set up, operate, and perform calibration procedures on test equipment; Work closely with a team of Engineers Perform data collection Summarize and communicate findings accurately to engineering team and management Write work instruction in support of ISO activity Perform routine maintenance of test equipment Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualifications 1-3 years experience in Semiconductor wafer testing or related field Experience with all or some of the measurement techniques listed in the job summary Experienced in SPC techniques Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions Able to use computers efficiently Well organized and pay close attention to detail Have good eye/hand dexterity, and be able to handle fragile parts

Must speak and write English well Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in: Electronics Semiconductor Technology Electrical Engineering Technology Physics or related field or equivalent hands-on semiconductor lab experience Education High School Diploma required Compensation The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Physical requirements/Work Environment This position primarily works in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. The employee must be able to suit up and wear cleanroom attire for extended periods. It requires frequent standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Data entry will be a necessary part of the job. May stand for extended periods when operating equipment or walking in the facility. The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
