Production Associate / Manufacturing Assistant

We are a local small business in Laconia that specializes in the personalization of products. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and ambitious Production Assistant with superior work ethic to add to our growing team. Our ideal candidate is someone who can work well with all members of our team, while being a self-starter capable of accomplishing tasks independently. This is a deadline driven environment so the ability to work well and be accurate in a fast-paced environment is a must. Each of our team members individually serves a vital role in the overall success of the team. For this reason, candidates must be able to arrive at work on-time with limited absences. If you join our team, you will need to be prepared to do any of the following tasks: Pulling and stocking inventory - you must be able to use a ladder, lift items 50 lbs. or more and carry them up and down stairs frequently. Receiving & Inspection of incoming products to ensure accuracy against purchase order and quality of items from suppliers. Product Preparation for personalization including cleaning, sanding and spray painting products. Shipping of completed products with care to prevent damage in shipping. General building maintenance - including weekly company cleaning (this includes and is not limited to vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash and recycling, washing floors, snow shoveling, and outdoor yard work) Candidates must possess basic computer skills, verbal and written communication abilities, the ability to read, perform basic math skills and be on their feet up to 8 hours per day.
