Our care philosophy is guided by the following core principles: Dignity and Respect Information Sharing Participation Collaboration The Cold Production Worker is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization's mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes. Essential Responsibilities The Cold Production Worker is responsible for preparing cold foods for the patient tray line based on forecasted quantities and established recipes. This role involves participating in tray line activities, assembling patient trays according to menu selections and dietary requirements, and assisting in the delivery of carts and trays to patients and their designated areas. This role requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines while fostering effective communication and teamwork within the department. Assists in the delivery of carts and trays to patients and patient areas Qualifications One year of food service experience OR six months formal training in dessert, salad and/or food garnishing techniques. High school diploma preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
