Production Manager Position Summary Corim Industries is seeking a dependable and hardworking Roaster Helper to join our coffee manufacturing team. This is a physically demanding production position that supports the roasting process by moving and loading coffee into the roaster, monitoring production quantities, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, comfortable working independently, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to regularly lift and move bags of coffee weighing up to 100 pounds. Schedule Monday-Friday 3:30 AM-11:30 AM Overtime may be required based on production needs What You'll Do Lift and load bags of green coffee into the roaster according to production requirements Handle and move coffee weighing up to 100 pounds Assist the Roaster Operator with daily roasting operations Keep accurate production counts on the department whiteboard, including pounds produced by type of roast Monitor roast production and communicate any issues to the Roaster Operator or supervisor Move raw materials and finished coffee as needed Maintain a clean and organized roasting area Follow established roasting, production, and quality procedures Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety procedures, and SQF requirements Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE Work safely around moving equipment, heat, and production machinery Perform other production duties as assigned What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to arrive on time for a 3:30 AM start Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Ability to accurately record production information Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift Positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous manufacturing, warehouse, coffee, or production experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds Ability to repeatedly load bags of coffee into production equipment Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Ability to bend, reach, twist, squat, and perform repetitive motions Ability to push and pull materials and equipment as needed Ability to work in an environment with heat, varying temperatures, dust, and moving equipment Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position Work Environment Fast-paced coffee manufacturing facility Work around roasting equipment and other moving machinery Exposure to heat and varying temperatures Food production environment where cleanliness and sanitation are essential Compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations is required Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required Overtime may be required based on production schedules What Success Looks Like Successful employees in this role: Arrive on time and maintain excellent attendance Safely and efficiently load coffee into the roaster Accurately track roast production and pounds produced Follow all safety, food quality, and production procedures Keep the roasting area clean and organized Communicate effectively with the Roaster Operator and production team Maintain a positive and dependable attitude Why Work at Corim Industries?
