Burlington, NJ Pay:
$17.50/hour
Shift:
Second Shift — 3:30 PM to 2:00
AM Schedule:
Monday through Friday
ABOUT THE ROLE
Delta Paper is seeking a skilled Polar Cutter Operator to join our second shift production team. You will operate and maintain our Polar cutting equipment to produce precise sheet sizes for our customers. This is a hands-on, production-focused position requiring technical aptitude and attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, operate, and adjust Polar cutting machines per job specifications Read and interpret job tickets, cut programs, and work orders Perform quality checks on cut sheets for accuracy and squareness Conduct routine machine maintenance and identify equipment issues Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Meet production output targets and document production records
REQUIREMENTS
Technical aptitude with ability to operate industrial cutting equipment Spanish speaking or bilingual (English/Spanish) required Ability to read precise measurements and follow job specifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Must be available Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience operating a Polar cutter or similar industrial cutting machine Background in paper, printing, packaging, or converting Familiarity with cut program software or digital cut control systems
