Shift/Pay:

Experience in Construction/Manufacturing or Production (Preferred) Job Description Perform production of Millwork and products. You will be responsible for moving, handling, and listing wood pieces and millwork to process through production. Responsibilities may include packing orders, building out crates, finishing work, sanding products down, and pushing boards. Responsibilities Perform production of millwork and related products. Move, handle, and list wood pieces and millwork for processing. Pack orders and build crates as needed. Perform finishing work and sand products. Push boards and other materials through production processes. Work independently with minimal direction. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Evaluate finished product quality according to visual or documented standards. Comply with the company PPE policy. Conduct tool checks and perform preventive maintenance on tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Experience in production and general production tasks. Proficiency with hand tools and carpentry skills. Hand and power tools in construction or as a pallet builder. General laborer experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a manufacturing setting where machines are running, and some areas may be loud and dusty. Safety glasses and gloves are provided. The dress code includes typical manufacturing attire such as work pants, jeans, sweatshirts, and work boots (preferably steel toe). The warehouse is heated, and there are two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. A cafeteria equipped with a refrigerator and microwave is available for use. Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. The current team consists of 43 people, expected to increase to 55 soon. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Egg Harbor City, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
