Melt Shop Operator -

Metal Manufacturing Shift:

2:00 PM-10:00 PM Monday-Friday We are seeking a Melt Shop Operator to support furnace operations in a fast paced metals manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in metal production, foundry operations, furnace operation, machine operation, material handling, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments. What You'll Do Weigh, sort, stage, and prepare raw metals and alloys according to production requirements Load and charge materials into furnace equipment Clean and prepare furnace chambers and surrounding equipment between melt cycles Assist with refractory, mold, and casting preparation Monitor furnace conditions, including temperature, vacuum levels, and equipment operation Support pouring, casting, cooling, and removal of finished metal ingots Operate material handling equipment and safely move production materials as assigned Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in manufacturing, metal processing, foundry, furnace, machine operation, or heavy industrial production required Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Able to safely lift and handle materials up to 75 lbs Valid Drivers License High School Diploma or GED required

Pay:
