Production Finishing Associate Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly reliable Production Finishing Associate to join our team in a clean, temperature-controlled shop. In this role, you will handle both incoming inventory checks and the final stage of our apparel decoration process—ensuring every embroidered and heat-pressed item is accurately accounted for, clean, tagged, neatly folded, and packaged according to customer specifications.
Precision and timeliness are critical:
punctuality and a sharp eye for detail are absolute musts. As a versatile team player, you will also jump in to support other production areas whenever extra hands are needed. Pay rate determined by experience.
Assist in receiving, opening, and counting inbound raw inventory/garments against packing slips to ensure order accuracy before production begins.
Garment Cleaning & Trimming:
Inspect embroidered and heat-transferred items; trim excess backing, threads, and jump stitches; remove minor spots or production marks.
Tagging & Packaging:
Attach hang tags, size stickers, or price tags; neatly fold, poly-bag, and label finished garments according to client specifications.
Quality Control & Counting:
Verify finished order quantities, garment sizes, and colors against production work orders with 100% accuracy.
Order Staging & General Support:
Organize finished goods for shipping or local pickup, and assist with general shop tasks across other departments as needed.
Workspace Maintenance:
Keep receiving and finishing stations clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies. Qualifications & Requirements Punctuality and attention to detail are a must. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes, and perform repetitive manual tasks (folding, trimming, tagging, bagging). Basic math skills for accurate inventory and order counting. Reliability, strong communication, and an adaptable, team-first attitude. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (a strong plus). Prior experience in an embroidery, print shop, or apparel business is a plus, but not required— on-the-job training is provided .
Schedule & Benefits Schedule:
Early shift, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday - Friday; weekend work is rare).
