We are currently seeking a Production Control Clerk to join our team in Lakewood, NJ.
Description:
The Production Control Clerk supports the Production Control and Manufacturing areas by preparing and updating reports or floor plans, generating and maintaining production bur id tickets, issuing material to jobs, retrieving ground/plated subassemblies after process is completed; cycle counting and validating production, checking machines and loading the plant floor with materials to be manufactured, filing ISO control documents, and physically stocking shelves. This position deals with all levels of management, outside auditors, and inventory professionals.
Responsibilities:
As the Production Control Clerk, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: Checking machines, retrieving parts, and loading the manufacturing floor with raw material Generating and maintaining production tickets for identification and tracking Preparing and updating reports and floor plans Counting, weighing, and validating production Cycle counting Data entry, filing, and other administrative duties as necessary Stocking shelves and issuing materials to jobs May be required to back up other positions within the department as necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency using Microsoft Office and other Windows based applications Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand English; write legibly Highly organized, focused, with a strong sense of urgency Strong attention to detail, good with numbers, ability to count and weigh items accurately. Ability to file documents accurately, thorough, and with good follow through. Ability to communicate and work with all departments and all levels of management Manufacturing knowledge and understanding of ISO policies and procedures helpful Knowledge of
EPICOR ERP
system a plus.
