Initially approximately 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.; expected to transition to approximately 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. once our internal production room is operational About the Role nama is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our growing gummy production team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys cooking, working with recipes, and finding ways to improve products and processes. You will work under our Production Manager at our partner's licensed cannabis manufacturing facility in Ridgefield, New Jersey. You will help produce, demold, finish, and package our cannabis gummies while also tracking ingredients, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished-product inventory. This is not simply a packing position. The right person will learn every stage of gummy manufacturing and play an important role in improving our recipes, production methods, consistency, and efficiency. As our New Jersey operations grow, there will be meaningful opportunities to take on greater responsibility and potentially advance into a leadership role, including becoming the Head Production Manager for our New Jersey production operations. Responsibilities Assist with preparing and producing cannabis gummies in accordance with approved formulas, SOPs, and regulatory requirements Accurately weigh, measure, and organize ingredients and production materials Assist with cooking, depositing, curing, demolding, sanding or coating, and inspecting gummies Package, label, count, and prepare finished products for testing, storage, or distribution Maintain accurate records for ingredients, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods Track production yields, waste, discrepancies, and inventory usage Keep production equipment, tools, work surfaces, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary Follow all food-safety, GMP, cannabis-compliance, and facility procedures Participate in supervised recipe trials and help identify improvements to texture, flavor, consistency, appearance, shelf stability, and production efficiency Communicate inventory shortages, production issues, and quality concerns to the Production Manager Help develop more efficient production and packout procedures as operations grow Take on additional production and leadership responsibilities over time Who We're Looking For Someone who genuinely enjoys cooking, baking, confectionery, or recipe development Extremely reliable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on production and packaging work Able to follow precise recipes, written procedures, and production records Interested in understanding why a process works and how it can be improved Able to work independently while also taking direction from the Production Manager Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment Strong basic math, counting, and recordkeeping skills Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to [40-50] pounds Willing and able to satisfy all eligibility, training, background, and badging requirements applicable to the licensed facility Experience in commercial kitchens, baking, confectionery, food manufacturing, cannabis manufacturing, inventory management, or quality control is helpful, but not required. We care most about reliability, attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Schedule and Growth For approximately the first three months, the expected working hours will generally be 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Once our internal production room is completed and operational, we expect the regular schedule to transition to standard hours of 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. We are building this position for the long term. A strong performer will have the opportunity to learn the entire production process, help shape our manufacturing systems, take on supervisory responsibilities, and potentially grow into the lead production role for our New Jersey operations.
