This position is responsible for maintaining production work orders within the planning board, ensuring labor is efficiently allocated, verifying production readiness, and monitoring daily scheduling activities to maximize production efficiency and throughput. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments including Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning. Key Responsibilities Production Scheduling Support
- Review and maintain daily production schedules.
- Link production work orders to maximize labor utilization and eliminate unclaimed labor hours.
- Ensure work orders are sequenced appropriately to support efficient production flow.
- Monitor daily production activities and communicate scheduling changes as needed. Work Order Management
- Upload and maintain production work orders on the scheduling board.
- Verify work order information for accuracy before issuing to production and warehouse team.
- Monitor work order status and update scheduling information as production progresses.
- Ensure load centers are correctly assigned for each scheduled work order.
- Report scheduling conflicts, production delays, and material constraints to the Master Scheduler. Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations preferred.
- Experience working within an
ERP / MRP
system.- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams.
