Full-Time Position Summary:

The Production Technician supports daily manufacturing operations by monitoring production, performing material handling tasks, and assisting with equipment maintenance. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor production line during operation and report issues. Communicate effectively via radio with team members. Cut material, sample products, move materials manually, operate a forklift, and empty trash carts. Perform clean-up activities and assist with equipment start-ups. Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned. Learn and support other key production roles (Levels 2-4). Understand and follow finished product specifications. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Ability to read a tape measure and interpret work instructions and product specifications. Basic math skills including fractions and percentages. Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Stand for extended periods. Safely lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, sometimes in awkward positions. Perform repetitive hand motions and manual tasks. Work safely in dusty environments with varying temperatures. Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead as needed. Adapt to an 8-hour shift schedule.
