Handmade knife manufacturer seeks workshop helper.

Duties:

Tidy shop, assist in day to day duties, sandblasting, running drill press, cutting and preparing materials, assembly of product.

Schedule:

32 hours per week average, shop functions Tu-F, with an occasional weekend.

Experience:

None required, but previous manufacturing or professional level workshop experience is a plus. I am happy to train the right person from the ground up. This is a position that requires self motivation and precision, as well as attention to detail.

Requirements:

Must have a reliable vehicle with valid driver license, must be punctual daily, able to stand for a full shift, must be able to lift 75 pounds solo or 150 pounds team lift. We are a small and rapidly growing shop based in the north valleys. Looking for someone of the right fit to assist in day to day duties and help keep things running. Punctuality is a must! This is a handmade production workshop, you will get dirty and dusty everyday while making and assembling product, proper PPE will be provided for you.
