Digital Print Production & Bindery/Finishing Associate Minuteman Press•Amherst | Amherst, NY Full-Time or Part-Time | $18.50•$22.00/hr•
ABOUT THE ROLE
Minuteman Press Amherst is a full-service print and marketing services provider serving businesses, nonprofits, and individuals throughout Western New York. We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented print production and finishing professional to join our team. This is a hands-on production role covering the full job lifecycle — from digital file output through finishing and quality control. We're open to full-time or part-time scheduling depending on the right candidate.•
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate digital print equipment (wide-format, laser, inkjet) to produce customer jobs Perform file preflight checks and basic color adjustments prior to output Execute bindery and finishing operations: cutting, folding, laminating, coil binding, saddle stitching, and mounting Inspect finished products for quality, color accuracy, and trim consistency Load and manage paper and media stock; maintain equipment per manufacturer specs Read and follow job tickets accurately; track production progress in shop management software Package and prep completed orders for customer pickup or shipping Keep the production floor clean, organized, and safe Communicate proactively with team members on job status and any issues•
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 1-2
years of hands-on experience in a print production, bindery, or finishing environment Familiarity with digital print equipment (Xerox, Fiery Command Workstation) Experience with finishing equipment: guillotine cutter, folder, laminator, coil binder Basic understanding of prepress concepts: bleed, resolution, CMYK vs RGB Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output Ability to read job tickets and manage multiple jobs simultaneously Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or InDesign is a plus — not required•
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Pay:
$18.50•$22.00 per hour, based on experience Full-time or part-time hours available Flexible shifts available within a 7:00 AM•8:00 PM window, Monday-Friday On-site at our Amherst, NY location
