- A Day in the Life
- You will support packaging and manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting specialized folding and gluing equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- Key responsibilities include:
- + Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot folder-gluer and related manufacturing equipment + Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal performance + Monitor production quality and conduct in-process quality checks + Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and measurements + Follow and document work according to GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols + Accurately complete production documentation and maintenance records + Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiency + Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve equipment or process issues + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment •Education•+ High School Diploma or GED required +
Preferred Fields of Study:
Technical/Mechanical- Experience
- + Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or maintenance experience
- Preferred Experience
- + Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair preferred + Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred + Experience with folding machines, press operations, or similar specialized equipment is a plus
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge
- + Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures + Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality control practices + Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems preferred
- Skills
- + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills + Ability to read and interpret technical documentation + Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy + Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Abilities
- + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment + Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs + Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required + Willingness to handle chemicals and work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- + Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting + Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs + Work performed in a manufacturing/industrial environment + Valid vision test certification required (renewed every two years)
