Job Description

Dimar Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Paint Line Lead to oversee daily paint line operations in our precision metal fabrication facility. This role coordinates workflow, sets up and monitors paint and coating processes, and ensures quality, safety, and throughput targets are met for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers. The Paint Line Lead will inspect parts, manage changeovers, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and maintain 5S and safety standards. You'll train and guide operators, communicate with production and quality teams, and keep accurate production and quality records in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Lead daily paint line operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals. Set up, operate, and monitor paint, powder coat, and curing equipment. Coordinate workflow, changeovers, and staffing on the paint line. Inspect parts for finish quality and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and escalate as needed. Maintain 5 S, housekeeping, and safety standards in the work area. Train, guide, and mentor paint line operators and helpers. Communicate status, issues, and priorities with production and quality teams. Complete production, quality, and downtime documentation accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives in throughput and defect reduction.
