Job Description
The Line Leader is responsible for overseeing daily packaging-line operations to ensure products are packaged safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. The Line Leader coordinates employees, monitors production activities, troubleshoots line issues, and ensures production targets are met while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate packaging-line employees during assigned shifts. Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment and production lines. Ensure products are packaged, labeled, and handled according to specifications. Monitor production output, quality, and line efficiency. Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with company and food/product safety standards. Train and coach employees on standard operating procedures, safety, and proper equipment operation. Assign work tasks and ensure adequate staffing throughout the shift. Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues and communicate major problems to maintenance or management. Complete production records, quality documentation, and shift reports accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area. Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and applicable regulations. Minimize downtime, waste, product damage, and packaging errors.
