Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join a food manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient and safe production of food products in a high-volume food processing plant. The ideal candidate will uphold strict food safety standards, adhere to regulatory guidelines and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties Make cheese pouches and assemble molds Open product for processing Properly handle filled cheese pouches and molds Label and identify product Move product to cold storage Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure product safety and quality Maintain consistent production flow while upholding quality standards Monitor packaged products for defects and report quality concerns to supervision Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other packaging or production areas as needed Support a team-oriented work culture through effective collaboration Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Basic math skills and reading comprehension Reliable work ethic with a positive, professional attitude Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production needs Previous manufacturing experience preferred Ability to bend, stretch, reach, grasp, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods (8+ hours per shift) Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on department and product requirements
