Production Associate / Blender Operator - 3rd Shift 6p-6:30a - $24.75/hr Job Description This role focuses on safely and accurately mixing and batching raw materials used in dairy products within a clean, well-organized food processing facility. You will operate blending and batching equipment, handle materials, and support general production activities while following clear instructions and maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation. Responsibilities Mix and batch raw materials according to established formulas and production schedules for dairy products. Operate blending, mixing, batching, and related production machinery safely and efficiently. Fill materials into designated containers or equipment and ensure proper labeling and handling. Restock raw materials and finished product as needed to support continuous production flow. Follow written and verbal instructions accurately to maintain product quality and consistency. Use basic math and a calculator to measure, weigh, and verify ingredient quantities. Perform general production tasks within a food processing and packaging environment. Assist with sanitation and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe work area. Handle and move materials, including lifting up to 50-55 lbs repetitively. Support food safety and quality standards by following all procedures and guidelines. Operate a forklift if trained and authorized, or assist with material movement as needed. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong basic math skills and proficiency using a calculator. Ability to lift 50-55 lbs repetitively throughout the shift. High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience in general production or food production environments. Comfort working with mixing, blending, batching, and machine operation. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a food facility. Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour night shifts (3rd shift, 6:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.). Additional Skills & Qualifications Blending or mixing experience in a production setting (1-2 years) is a plus. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Experience in sanitation or cleaning within a food processing environment. Experience in food processing and packaging is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a food processing and packaging facility that is clean, well organized, and well lit. The role is on 3rd shift, working 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., following a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next (36 hours and 48 hours), and requires flexibility with this rotation. You will work in a large production environment with blending, mixing, batching, and general production equipment, and may use forklifts and other material-handling tools. The facility emphasizes sanitation, organization, and a safe, structured production setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elma, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
