Job Description

Through personalized service, a seamless Picture Day experience, and easy online ordering, Irvin Simon is dedicated to creating delightful experiences for schools and families alike. But it's more than just taking great pictures; it also takes a great team behind the scenes to make it all happen. That's where the Digital Photography Assistant comes in. Duties Primary duties fall into three categories: Photography Preparation, Printing, and Physical Plant Photography Preparation - A lot goes into making school Picture Day go off without a hitch. From memory cards, to sitting tickets, to slates, everything needs to be prepared and ready to go. The DPA is the Production department's point of contact with Photography, and will:
  • Assemble job totes for every photographer
  • Ensure the correct database is assigned to each job
  • Interact with incoming and outgoing photographers for handoff Printing - The DPA is responsible for all printed materials produced both before and after Picture Day. Print jobs are run through Canon professional printers, and include:
  • Photographer toolkits
  • Ordering Forms
  • School requested service items such as Stickers and Photo-Books
  • General printing requests from the Production team Physical Plant - Keeping the Production floor running smoothly is also essential to a great Picture Day. DPA's will assist in general tasks such as:
  • Taking in mail and receiving shipments
  • Care and maintenance of printers (major repairs handled by service contractor)
  • Upkeep of indoor/outdoor Production facilities

Pay:
$42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
