Production Worker

Lupo's Spiedies and Lupo's Bottling LLC, is a 3rd generation family owned and operated further meat processing plant which is USDA inspected plant and HACCP (hazard analysis control point) and SQF (safe quality foods) certified. Lupo's Spiedies and Lupo's Bottling LLC is seeking reliable production workers with good work ethics, desire to produce a quality product, grow with the Company, and are reliable to work as a team player at their plant and bottling company in Endicott, New York. Daily attendance and punctuality is required. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: cubing and/or cutting uncooked chicken breast and other uncooked meats marinading chicken Spiedies marinading chicken breast, pork, lamb, and processing other meats working on our Roll-Stock machines (machine operation/mechanical skills helpful) making Italian sausage performing all proper set up and clean up procedures packaging product and correctly labeling products set up, tear down, wash, sanitize, maintain and clean equipment and end of day cleaning requirements of

standards, which includes sweeping/mopping, cleaning rooms/walls, etc. assist in loading and unloading company trucks and other incoming delivery trucks Desire to learn and willing to cross train is needed to work in all areas of production must be able to lift up to 50 pounds follow quality control requirements, as well as plant requirements and policies be safety conscious - being aware of your surroundings for safety, and safety of others learn and/or have a general knowledge and understanding of HACCP program(s) Meet all requirements for USDA and SQF policies and protocols, etc. Ability to accept and understand direction and priorities from management team perform job duties with minimum disruption to co-workers and the business operation Company Expectations include, but are not limited to: Reliability and punctuality required Must be 18 years of age Work day starts promptly at 7 a.m., working through to the end of production time (late shift as required) when customer orders, cleaning and sanitizing has been completed for the day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Communications skills; must speak/read/write/understand English Be a team player; working independently as well working as a team be aware of and abide by company guidelines, protocols, and policies What Lupo's offers you: First Shift hours (days start at 7 a.m. until finished daily processing orders, and clean up required); overtime hours required during busy season (May through September) $16.00 per hour; Hours over 40 are paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Minimal weekend work Health insurance, disability, PFL Simple IRA with 3% matching after enrollment requirements are met Paid time off Employee food discounts Clean/Safe work environment If you are interested in joining Lupo's Spiedies and/or Lupo's Bottling LLC team, please apply online at www.spiedies.com or stop in to fill out an application for employment consideration.
