00 per hour Hunter & Hilsberg is a small-batch specialty food manufacturer producing jams, jellies, preserves, fruit butters, chutneys and sauces for customers throughout the United States. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking for a long-term opportunity rather than simply their next job. This position is ideal for someone who values teamwork, professionalism and personal responsibility, enjoys seeing a finished product at the end of the day, and wants to learn the craft of producing premium specialty food products. Food, beverage, agricultural, manufacturing, baking, catering, or commercial kitchen experience is strongly preferred. What Makes This Position Different Unlike many production jobs, you will not spend every day performing a single repetitive task. Team members are trained in all aspects of production, including ingredient preparation, cooking, packaging, quality assurance, record keeping and sanitation. You will work directly alongside company founders and experienced production staff while learning the processes required to transform simple ingredients into high-quality, shelf-stable specialty foods sold throughout the country. Our team is small enough that every person matters. We are not looking to fill a seat. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of a close-knit production team and grow with the company over time. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and recipes for production Follow formulations, production procedures and food safety requirements Cook, package and label finished products Complete production and quality records Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work environment Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure successful daily production What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic A positive, cooperative attitude Attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn and accept responsibility Ability to work efficiently without constant supervision Ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly Ability to stand for extended periods Commitment to cleanliness, organization and food safety Schedule

Experience Candidates with experience in food production, beverage production, manufacturing, baking, farming, packaging, commercial kitchens, catering, or other hands-on production environments are encouraged to apply.
