Full Job Description Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description The General Production Worker plays a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process by working across multiple production areas. This position involves tasks such as Ink Mixing, Weeding, Auto‑Calendaring, and Quality Check. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to rotate between these responsibilities as required.
Responsibilities Ink Mixing:
Mix colored inks according to set recipes and work instructions. Adjust color and viscosity to meet exact specifications. Follow detailed instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
Weeding:
Trim finished prints and remove excess material or scrap. Collaborate with machine operators to prepare products for subsequent steps. Auto‑
Calendaring:
Operate automated roller equipment. Roll raw material to a specified thickness for further production.
Quality Check:
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Document and sign off on quality checks prior to shipment. Essential Skills 6+ months of consistent manufacturing experience. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to follow work instructions and maintain quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Quality experience, especially in Ink Mixing or inspection, is a plus. Garment production experience is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment As part of a global company that manufactures and distributes materials and solutions for branding, packaging, and identification, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The shifts are from Monday to Friday, with the first shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. The dress code is casual, permitting jeans, slacks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies, but steel-toed boots or sneakers are required. No baggy clothing or loose/hanging jewelry is allowed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
