Job description: Eclipse Outdoor is a dynamic and growing manufacturer of custom-made shade products. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. Position Summary The Assembler is responsible for assembling custom shade products and related components according to work instructions and quality standards. This role supports production by preparing parts, performing assembly operations, and verifying finished assemblies to ensure safe, consistent, and on-time output. Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble shade product components and sub-assemblies using hand tools and/or basic power tools in accordance with work instructions, drawings, and production schedules.
  • Read and follow job travelers, work orders, and assembly instructions to ensure correct parts, quantities, and sequencing.
  • Verify parts and materials prior to assembly; identify and report shortages, defects, or nonconforming components.
  • Perform basic measurements and inspections (e.g., fit, alignment, dimensions) to ensure assemblies meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation; follow 5S and safety requirements.
  • Support production flow by staging components, moving completed work to the next operation, and communicating status or issues to the lead/supervisor.
  • Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Assist with rework, repairs, or continuous improvement activities as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications for Considerations
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable using hand tools; ability to learn job-specific tools and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with team lifts as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely use required tools and equipment and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
