Coffee Production Team Member Utica Coffee Roasting Company Job Type:
Full-Time Pay:
Starting at $17.00-20.00 per hour
Expected Hours:
37.5 - 40 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift

In person About the Role Join Utica Coffee Roasting Company and become part of the team that packages and distributes our coffee around the world. You'll grind, pack, and date our product to meet customer demand in a positive, fast-growing environment. This is a fast-paced role built on teamwork — clear communication and collaboration are essential to keeping production moving smoothly. What You'll Learn As part of this role, you'll build proficiency in: Non-flavor and flavor pack-out Multiple grinding techniques Flavoring processes Just-in-time (JIT) order fulfillment Frac machine operation Cold brew production Coffee roasting Responsibilities Operate food service packaging machinery Pack out coffee: filling, sealing, counting, flavoring, grinding, and labeling Assemble, label, and stage boxes for delivery to the warehouse Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general upkeep of production areas, counters, and shared spaces Contribute ideas to help innovate our products and processes alongside the production team Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and report issues promptly Apply mechanical aptitude to food-grade manufacturing equipment Leave your station and the surrounding warehouse clean and organized after every production run Support teammates as needed to keep production running efficiently Complete all required training and testing to perform the role successfully Progress toward CPTM2 certification through on-the-job training while working as a CPTM1 Take on other duties as needed to support our vision, mission, and values Requirements Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move up to 30 pounds Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and navigate ramps and uneven surfaces Strong visual acuity for repetitive quality checks, counting, and spotting small defects A genuine passion for coffee Fluent in spoken and written English Basic math and writing skills 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production environment preferred Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
