Job Description

EWASTE+ is a leader in electronic recycling operations, and we're looking for dedicated Demanufacturing Associate to help us make a difference. The PC Demanufacturing Associate is responsible for disassembling personal computers (PCs) and other electronic devices for the purpose of recycling, reuse, or disposal. This role involves identifying and separating components such as hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and other recyclable materials in accordance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Monday - Friday schedule, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, No nights or weekends!
Competitive Pay:
Up to $18.50/ hour (16.50/hour base pay & a $4,000 annual production incentive paid out quarterly)

Key Responsibilities:
Safely disassemble PCs, laptops, and related electronic devices using hand and power tools. Identify, sort, and separate components (e.g., CPUs, RAM, hard drives, motherboards, power supplies) for reuse, resale, or recycling. Label and inventory usable parts and recyclable materials. Follow proper data destruction protocols (e.g., physical destruction of hard drives). Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials. Assist with loading/unloading electronics and moving equipment within the facility. Report equipment malfunctions or unsafe working conditions to a supervisor. Meet daily/weekly productivity targets and quality standards.
