Description This Is Not Just a General Labor Job .... PM Research is seeking mechanically inclined, detail-driven individuals who want to build high-quality American-made products and develop real manufacturing skills. If you're looking for repetitive, low-responsibility work where quality doesnt matter, this is not the role for you. If you take pride in craftsmanship, want to learn multiple manufacturing processes, and value accountability, keep reading. What You'll Do... Production Workers at PM Research are hands-on manufacturers, not button-pushers. Employees are cross-trained and evaluated based on quality, reliability, safety, and mechanical aptitude. Depending on skills and performance, responsibilities may include: Precision assembly, finishing, and packaging of manufactured products
Operating grinders, saws, presses, air tools, and production fixtures
Supporting foundry, air production, model, sporting goods, and machining operations
Performing in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Reading and following work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements
Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas
Supporting CNC operations for employees demonstrating aptitude and advancement This is a physically active, detail-focused, quality-critical role. Who Will Not Be a Fit This role is not a fit if you: Avoid responsibility or quality checks Dislike physical work or standing most of the day Want minimal responsibility or learning Struggle with attention to detail or following instructions We are direct because quality matters here. Requirements High School Diploma or GED
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to read instructions, drawings, and measurements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Basic math skills (measurement, counts, weights)
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance is an essential function of the role
Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required mindset matters more than resumes.
Compensation $16.50-$18.50
