Job Description
If the smell of wood and sawdust doesn't bother you then you may be looking for us. This is a labor intensive job that requires continual lifting. FIC is currently hiring people to load material onto our CNC routers or assemble lumber. We offer efficiency bonuses and opportunity to advance. First shift is from 7A-330P Second shift is from 3P-1130P Third shift is from 11P-730A Most training will occur on first shift and once trained will be moved to preferred shift. Summary As a Wood Processing Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating machinery and ensuring the precision of wood products. Additionally, your experience in materials handling and quality control will contribute to a safe and effective manufacturing environment. Join our team to help create top-quality wood products in a dynamic facility. Responsibilities Operate wood processing machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Read and interpret spec sheets Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality control. Handle materials and tools safely within a manufacturing facility environment.
