Job Title:
Production Operator ($20-22/hr.) Job Description The Production Operator oversees multiple operations on a production line, rotating through different tasks to support efficient, high-quality output. This role involves operating machinery, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining a safe, organized work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today! Responsibilities Oversee multiple operations on the production line to ensure consistent, efficient workflow. Cross-train and rotate through different production tasks approximately every two hours. Label boxes accurately and clearly in preparation for shipping. Operate and monitor the laminator to meet production and quality standards. Perform visual quality checks on products to identify and address defects or inconsistencies. Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the shift. Collaborate effectively with other team members on the production line to meet daily targets. Handle general labor tasks as needed to support production operations. Operate forklifts and other production machinery in a safe and efficient manner, if trained and authorized. Essential Skills Ability to oversee and manage multiple tasks on a production line. Capability to cross-train and adapt to different tasks every two hours. Experience with general labor in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to operate forklifts, where licensed or trained, and basic machine operation skills. Strong attention to detail to perform accurate labeling and visual quality checks. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to work effectively with other team members on a production line. Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting. Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. Experience operating laminators or similar production machinery. Strong teamwork and communication skills to support coordinated line operations. Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production schedules. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a non-climate-controlled production facility, which can be hot during the summer months. You will work on and around production lines, forklifts, and other machinery in a fast-paced setting. The work involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving throughout the production area to complete various tasks. Expect a hands-on, industrial environment where maintaining safety, organization, and awareness of surroundings is essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beach City, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
