Seasonal Floater / Summer Help

Warehouse Manager / Team Lead Position Overview We are looking for energetic, reliable, and flexible Seasonal Floaters & Summer Help to join our plant team. In this multi-skilled role, you will move between different areas of the facility as needed—stepping in wherever the team requires extra support. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety, hands-on work, and learning new skills. Many of our seasonal floaters have successfully transitioned into permanent full-time positions and other advancement opportunities within the company. This position is ideal for motivated team players who are ready to contribute across multiple departments and grow with us. Key Responsibilities As a Floater Worker & Summer Help, you will be expected to perform the following duties (and others as assigned):

Picking & Packing:

Work in the production area to pick, sort, inspect, and pack products efficiently and accurately as needed throughout the building.

Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance:

Assist with outdoor landscaping tasks, including mowing, weeding, planting, mulching, and general grounds upkeep.

Facility Maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance duties such as cleaning, organizing workspaces, minor repairs, and ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.

Special Projects:

Support one-time or short-term projects as assigned by the supervisor (e.g., inventory reorganization, painting, seasonal setup, or process improvements).

Floater Support:

Quickly adapt to different roles and departments on a daily or hourly basis to fill gaps, cover absences, or meet production demands—acting as a true "utility player" for the team. You must be comfortable switching tasks throughout the day and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements & Qualifications Minimum Age:

Candidates aged 16 or 17 must obtain written parental/guardian consent.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong work ethic and reliability (good attendance is essential). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and willingness to learn multiple roles and adapt quickly. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs (with proper techniques), and perform repetitive tasks in varying indoor/outdoor conditions. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. No previous experience required—we provide on-the-job training. Preferred (but not required): Previous experience in warehouse, production, landscaping, or maintenance work. Availability for the full seasonal period (June through the end of the peak season).
