Job Profile Summary:

Resolves complex and escalated incidents,demonstrating proficiencyin advanced troubleshooting techniques to ensure swift incident resolution and minimal impact on production. Conducts thorough root cause analyses for critical incidents, implementing preventive measures to enhance system reliability and prevent recurrence. Works closely with software development and DevOps teams to understand intricate application designs, codebase, and deployment processes.

Shift:

What you will be doing: Utilizes basic equipment as part of diagnostic testing, toinclude:pressure gauges, calipers, and digital voltage meters. Trains on more complex equipment (O-scopes,computer based diagnostic tools, etc.) used in diagnostic testing byassisting in actual evaluations andissue assessment. Makes adjustments and repairs forbasic to routine and occasionally complex equipment problems. Makes recommendations for repair of mechanical and electronic production equipment. Works on mail sort, unwinder, and folder units while building experience on pressure sealer, punch and perforation, folder, cutting, and bursting units. Makes repairs on 3 phase motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, gears, chains,pumpsand conveyors, as directed. Recommends anddocumentspreventive maintenance according to equipment specifications. Records downtime in database. Acquiresabilityto read and interpret schematics and blueprints of equipment. Installs and updates basic equipment software and hardware.

What you will need:

High school diploma or GED Electromechanical troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor, and control-system failures on automated production equipment.

Mechanical repair:

Experience replacing and adjusting belts, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, pulleys, motors, actuators, assemblies, and other machine components.

Electrical troubleshooting:

Ability to troubleshoot wiring, connectors, power supplies, switches, motors, I/O boards, control boards, and related electrical components.

Sensors and controls:

Experience diagnosing photoelectric sensors, proximity sensors, interlocks, safety circuits, actuators, encoders, and machine I/O.

Automated production equipment:

Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing, mailing, inserting, printing, packaging, or similar automated equipment.

Root-cause troubleshooting:

Ability to systematically isolate failures rather than relying solely on part replacement-for example, tracing intermittent jams, communication faults, motor errors, safety-chain faults, and material-handling problems.

Strongly preferredif you have:

Prefer 4yearsfast production machine experience.
