Job Description
Join Our Team Are you skilled in working with steel and looking to take the next step in your career? We are hiring experienced Machine Operators to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to run a variety of machines, including Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and Spot Welders . If you are detail-oriented, safety-minded, and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures and promote safe work practices. Operate and set up assembly and production equipment. Work from drawings, specifications, and work orders. Produce quality parts, performing measurement checks and inspections throughout the production process. Use precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect and measure parts for accuracy. Apply math skills for calculating and adjusting bends. Record, create, and print routing tickets, work orders, and quality checks using computer systems. Assist in equipment maintenance as directed. Identify and report product non-conformance, safety issues, and process improvements to supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor. Requirements Previous experience working with steel is required. Ability to operate and adjust production machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-motivated and dependable. Must be able to work overtime when required. Must pass a drug screen and background check. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
