PE/QA ENGINEERING ASSISTANT

Job Summary The Engineering Assistant primarily facilitates the flow of customer information throughout the organization. Key responsibilities include managing data entry tasks and maintaining internal reports to ensure cross-departmental alignment. Shift & Compensation

• $18 to $21.00 per hour.
• 1st shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:15pm
• This role follows an 8-hour flexible scheduling policy to ensure both operational coverage and personal flexibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage the entry and issuance of external customer quality concerns Acting liaison as the primary point of communication for Engineering changes between domestic and global operations Process sorting invoices while maintaining a comprehensive internal database to track and report out overall sorting expenses. Distribute daily, weekly and monthly quality reports within the organization Coordinate and process internal ORFs with external vendors Conduct monthly fixed asset reconciliation between Engineering and Accounting teams Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) to support data management and reporting. Maintains a positive, solutions-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment Self-Motivated with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong numerical and analytical skills

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Primary duties are performed in a climate-controlled, professional office environment. To ensure a safe work environment, Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] is mandatory on the shop floor to include safety glasses, steel-toe safety shoes, company soft or bump cap along with hearing protection
